Biography

With a sweet name and even sweeter sound, Oh My Darling conjures up the right mix of emotion and elation with their unique brand of old time country. Their prairie roots mixed with bluegrass, Appalachian old time, southern twang, and Franco-folk, makes their style a melting pot of musical languages. Infused with dynamic vocals, brilliant claw-hammer banjo, inspired fiddling, and grooving bass, their music gets hips swinging, toes tapping, and puts audiences into the palm of their hand. The quartet closed out its recent European tour on stage in front of thousands at Trafalgar Square for the massive Canada Day in London. Sweet Nostalgia, the band’s follow-up to Western Canadian Music Award-nominated debut In the Lonesome Hours, will be released this fall.
