George Belanger is recognized across Canada as the front man of Harlequin – whose hits,Innocence, I Did it For Love, You Are the Light, Thinking of You and Superstitious Feeling are still mainstays on Classic Rock radio stations. As a songwriter, George’s history begins in 1968, when his first recording with a band called The Fifth was published on the Franklin Label, a cover of Tobacco Road. The Fifth released a few more albums, allowing George to develop his songwriting craft. In 1969, the band evolved into Next and recorded an album for Warner Bros., called Dusty Shoes. However, it wasn’t until 1976 that George paved the road to his commercial success, by joining Harlequin. The band produced several Gold and Platinum albums (selling over 350,000 copies), and toured across North and South America. After a two decade hiatus, George formed Harlequin II in 2004, along with Darren Moore and Derrick Gottfried. Harlequin II’s new CD is called “Waking the Jester” - and a live CD is about to be released as well.
Sierra Noble is a fiddle virtuoso who breezes through Celtic, Bluegrass, Jazz, World beat and other styles of music with stunning ease. Since the age of seven, Sierra has been a student of classical music as well as being immersed by the traditional tunes of the Metis. Her talent has taken her around the world where she has visited countries in Asia, Europe and North America. She amazes audiences with compelling contemporary performances which feature exceptional instrumentals, energetic step-dancing and her infectious down to earth charm. Never one to rest on her laurels, it is no surprise that 18-year-old Sierra wants to expand and develop her musical talents. With a new EP to her credit, aptly named "Possibilities," Sierra's journey as a singer-songwriter is off to a promising start.
