Oh My Darling brings their red-hot bluegrass blend to western Canada

Oh My Darling’s sound blends bluegrass, Appalachian old time, southern twang, and Franco-folk. Picture a medley of harmonic vocals, claw-hammer banjo, fiddle and bass – and you get Oh My Darling’s hip-swinging signature style.
Sweet Nostalgia is the quartet’s much-anticipated second full length release. In only three short years, the band has toured ceaselessly, headlining sold out shows across Europe and Canada, becoming crowd favourites at country and folk festivals, and winning the hearts of all who come to experience their energetic live show.
It's this love for live performance that Oh My Darling captured while recording Sweet Nostalgia. In just seven days, in a straw bale house in Roseisle, Manitoba, all 10 tracks were recorded live, with the Juno Award winning producer Steve Dawson. The result is a raw and honest sound that has the exuberance of a live show, and shines a spotlight on each of these girls' extraordinary talents as musicians and songwriters.
Vanessa Kuzina (vocals, guitar, fiddlesticks), Rosalyn Dennett (vocals, fiddle), Allison de Groot (clawhammer banjo), and Marie-Josée Dandeneau (acoustic bass) make up the members of Oh My Darling, and each is a musical prodigy in her own rite. Coming from a diverse background of musical styles, the four have found a common ground in Sweet Nostalgia - their best effort yet.
