AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY CHART-TOPPERS - JETTY R0AD - SIGN EXCLUSIVE
NORTH AMERICAN MANAGEMENT DEAL WITH WINNIPEG'S SOUND STRATEGY MUSIC

 

(October 16, 2009 - Winnipeg, MB) Sound Strategy Music has signed one the hottest country bands in Australia to an exclusive North American management deal. In fact, Jetty Road just received the awards for Independent Band of the Year and Album of the Year at the Australian Independent Country Music Awards!

Last summer, Sound Strategy Music got Jetty Road booked on the main stages at the biggest country music festivals in North America – including WE Fest, Big Valley Jamboree and Merritt Mountain Music Festival.

“Jetty Road shared stages with the biggest country artists in the world including, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Brooks & Dunn – and the band held its own,” says Sound Strategy Music’s Rob Wozny. “The county music industry took notice of Jetty Road. We hope to build on that momentum and the band’s rapidly growing fan base in North America.”

Furthermore, the band’s immense popularity in its homeland continues to soar. Life at a Million Miles – Jetty Road’s second studio album – was released in early 2009 and two of its singles, “Good Times” and “Million Miles,” shot to the top of the Aussie country charts. In Europe, the band has headlined major festivals and was recently commissioned to write a theme song for a popular life and culture magazine in France.
