JETTY ROAD NOMINATED FOR THREE COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS IN AUSTRALIA!

 

(Melbourne, Australia - Thursday November 19, 2009) Australia's Jetty Road has been nominated for three Country Music Awards (Golden Guitars) to be presented in January by the Country Music Association of Australia:

Jetty Road has already picked up major awards this year, including Australian Independent Artist of the Year, Australian Independent Album of the Year for their album Life At A Million Miles and Australian Independent Group/Duo of the Year with their brand new single, World Keeps Turning at the Southern Cross Independent Country Music Awards in Mildura in October.

It has certainly been a big year for the band. Having toured internationally in 2009 throughout Canada, Europe and America, including a performance alongside country music superstars Brooks and Dunn, Jetty Road’s single, Million Miles, reached the coveted number one position on not one, but two national country music charts in its homeland – the Country Music Channel Top 30 and the Country Tracks Top 30. Million Miles sat atop the Country Tracks Top 30 chart for a consecutive 6 weeks – an achievement only 13 other artists have achieved over the past 20 years.
